Hello Davis Scholars!

I have created a blog on our website for each of the service groups. You can find a list of all the groups at http://wccglobalscholars.net/community/blogs/Bloggers.aspx, or you can click on the List All Blogs link on the main page. Look for your username in the "Authors" field to find your blog. You will notice that there may be old posts in your blog leftover from last year. That is ok, as it will be obvious by the time difference that you are a new group when you post your first blog posting. If you would like to change the name of your blog, please let me know and I will be happy to do so.

To post an entry to your blog, click on the blog title and then click on "Write a Blog Post" on the right side of the page. You can then type your entry in the text box; however, it is a good idea to type it up elsewhere first, in case there are connection issues. You can then just copy/paste into the box. Also, if you check the "Advanced Options" box, you will have other options for your post, including adding attachments to it. Always remember to use the "Preview" tab before you post to make sure that the post looks like you want it to look. We are expecting an initial post within the next 3 weeks. This post should be well organized and developed and should outline your plans for your project and the results you hope to achieve. I suggest you collaborate on this post, but only one group member needs to post, unless you want to post in separate messages/sections.

Also, some of you have not added any information to your profiles yet. It is even more important that you do that now, as your username is associated with the content of your group blog. Please also include your birthday, as this is automatically entered on our calendar.
